One of the most crucial things in setting up your WordPress website is properly planning your site navigation, achieved with the menus.

Widgets, on the other hand, are legacy feature that provides a script or small feature to your users to improve the usability of your website. Blocks are replacing widgets, but some themes may still present it as the old way.
